Beehives in a Palouse meadow at golden hour

Ericksen Apiaries

Raw, local honey from the rolling hills of the Palouse. Produced with care in Moscow, Idaho since 2022.

Honey from the Heart of the Palouse

Ericksen Apiaries is a small-scale honey operation run by Gerrit Ericksen in Moscow, Idaho. With hives spread across Moscow and neighboring towns on the Palouse, our bees forage on wildflowers, clover, and the diverse flora that makes this region special.

In 2025, we produced about 15 gallons of raw honey -- and we're growing every year. Whether you're curious about beekeeping, interested in the health benefits of local honey, or just want to learn more about what we do, you're in the right place.

Raw Local Honey

Unfiltered, unpasteurized honey straight from our hives. Every jar captures the unique flavors of Palouse wildflowers and clover.

Sustainable Beekeeping

We prioritize the health of our colonies with treatment-conscious practices and natural hive management suited to Idaho's climate.

Pollination

Our bees don't just make honey -- they help pollinate gardens, farms, and orchards throughout the Palouse region.
